Our new exhibit opens on Friday February 27, 2026 from 4-6pm – “Golden Anniversary Log Cabin Special Exhibit” from the East of the Cascades Quilters Guild, in Sisters, Oregon. Created for the fiftieth anniversary of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, this exhibit features the traditional log cabin block, a symbol of home and community and a favorite of the show’s founder, Jean Wells. The 50” x 50” quilts also incorporate the color goldenrod to mark the fiftieth anniversary. From the very traditional to the very modern, each quilt showcases the individual quilter’s style and techniques. Thanks for watching! Thank you for the support and for making it possible for us to share our expertise, inspirations, and ideas with the maker community. Stitchin’ Post was founded in 1975 by Jean Wells in Sisters, OR. Jean, and her daughter Valori, still own and run the shop as a maker's mercantile offering quality supplies for many crafts and fiber arts. We believe in customer service, education, and supporting both our local and the maker communities. We’re also the founder of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and Quilter's Affair.
