Date Filmed: 6 March 2026 As Term 1 Was Going To End Soon As March 6 Was The Last Weekday For Term 1 Week 9, I Eventually Had Just Decided To Take One Of The Latest R151 Trainset Which Is R151 Set 973/974 Being The Highest Set In Service After R151 Set 967/968 Being Debuted In The Mid-February 2026. But Then, R151 Set 969/970 Was Debuted On 3 March 2026 Which Enter Service Slightly Later After 973/974 Revenue Service 2 Days Later. On That Day During The Evening Peak Hours, The Weather Was Raining As You Can The Doors Being Fitted With The Water Droplets. I Waited For Half An Hour To Take This Train as The Train Arrived At Chinese Garden MRT Station Firstly At Around 6:11 PM and I Check That This Train Is Really Going Towards Tuas Link Direction Which Means That I Will Be Able To Ride The Newest R151 Trainset To The Tuas West Extension Section Which Was Opened For Passenger Service On 18 June 2017. I Actually Wanted To Start Recording Earlier But Then Most Passengers Alighted At Boon Lay MRT Station When The Train Was Going Towards Tuas Link Direction So I Didn't Want To Filmed The Crowded Train Until From Pioneer MRT Station Onwards Is Where I See More People Alighting And Making The Train More Empty and Empty Until At Joo Koon MRT Station Onwards I Started Moving To Another Train Carriage As Behind Were More Empty Seats. Usually The Tuas West Extension MRT Stations Including Gul Circle MRT Stations Always Have Low Demand Because Not Much People Will Come Here and I Dislike The Train Frequency As Every Trains Comes In 15 Mins When Entering Or Leaving MRT Stations When I Explore Them Sometimes In The Off-Peak Hours. But Now In The Peak, The Train Arrival Time Have Reduced It To 3 Minutes When I Was Checking On The Passenger Information Display Screen TV. In Fact, It Is Eventually Going To Replace The 19 C651 and 21 C751B Trains Which Have Ran Since 1995 and 2000 Respectively and Both Of Them Were Gone At The End Of 2024 As I Got Check It On The Internet Before. I Separated It Into 2 Parts. The First Part Features The Train Ride From Pioneer To Tuas Link and Then The Part 2 On The Next Video Will Be The Train Ride From Tuas Link To Jurong East MRT Station Towards Pasir Ris Direction. This Train Was Deployed As Train Run 157 Which Is To Serve The Evening Peak Hours From The Brand New East Coast Integrated Depot Which Was In Operation Since Early-2026 When Changi Depot Is Going To Removed With The Tracks Leading Will Also Be Gone When The East West Line Services Were Disrupted Between Expo and Tanah Merah MRT Stations On 14 March To 17 March 2026. The Train Motor Sound Is Quite Strong, Quite Fast Ride Too As Always. The Aircon Is Quite Strong, LCD DRMD and CLD Celling Displays Are Always On The Working Part and Even The LED Lights Were Brighter So That I Could Filmed The CRRC Changchun Train Quite Well. So The Train Ride Is Amazing and I Would Want To Ride It Again Soon! Ride Rating Is 100/100!
