EPIC Cosplay Steampunk Photo Shoot Using NORMAL Flash Sync and Natural Light in Tasmania, Australia

Join award winning photographer Jason Lanier at his workshop in Australia where he took his workshop group to shoot some fun cosplay and steampunk out on the sand dunes of Tasmania! This is back from 2015 before High Speed Sync options were available for Sony shooters and it shows what can be done with normal flash sync lights. The ambient lighting also changed during the shoot to where no flash was needed at all so Jason and group proceeded to shoot all natural light. This particular shoot worked out for these circumstances because Jason was shooting with a wide angle slow aperture lens and shot the majority of the shoot at f/4 or more narrow. For shooting in flash conditions where a wider aperture is required, a high speed sync flash would be recommended over using one that only does normal sync.
