Pouya Air An-74 [EP-PUC] - Departure from Mashhad

Our return flight to Tehran Mehrabad from Mashhad with Pouya Air once again. The An-74 is one of the strangest looking planes you could see with the engines mounted above and close to the fuselage. It is better known as a cargo jet but Pouya Air, based in Tehran have kitted theirs out with seating for passengers - they just didn't increase the window count. This time I moved around the cabin a bit more and got to look out one of the rear windows during the flight. We also didn't have to warm the engines up for as long on the runway. The crew were really friendly and welcoming - they even sat with us for photos and a bit of a chat. Some of the interesting Russian signage of the aircraft is included in the video as well.
