Walk of the 3 Canals

A historical walk of the canals, walking along the Erewash Canal in Derbyshire passing the Bennerley Viaduct before reaching the Great Northern Basin at Langley Mill where the Erewash, Cromford and Nottingham Canals all meet. Onwards passing the Cromford Canal we follow the Nottingham Canal back to Ilkeston where we started this 7.5 mile circular walk. This is a family friendly easier walk as walking along the towpaths of the canals and a couple of tracks too. See if you can spot the Toll Office or a Heron looking for fish on the canal banks.
