Milito - JOY OF TOTAL EMBODIMENT / AVANT-POP THEATRE Savage songs of anger and love: vocals + guitar bristles on neon beats. Dry grass and ecstasy of seclusion. The frenzy of banging the ground with a stick - for life. Milito's concert is an experience that combines inspirations drawn from many fields of art - in addition to music, we will find here performance art and visual arts. The artist's compositions themselves combine references to the world of rites - they bring to mind processions, rituals, or simply - intimate confessions. An event constructed in this way begins to resemble a secret theatre taking place in the back of big cities, where souls thirsting for mystery seek mystical qualities. In this case, although universal, the events are seen through the eyes of a male, through the prism of his sensitivity, individualism and uniqueness. They are supported not only by voice or sound, but also gesture, dance, as well as all the visual elements of the performance referring to the sacredness of the material basis of existence regardless of place and time. Milito – musician, poet, visual artist. During his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, he mainly focused on performance art and video art. He uses this experience during concerts, adding dance and visual elements to them. Milito creates experimental music, in which he combines inspirations drawn from alternative music from around the world with the formula of song. This specific avant-pop oscillates between blissful peace, wild joy and psychedelia. Thematically, the artist touches on motifs around the celebration of sensitivity, sensuality and corporeality. So far, two Milito albums have been released - "Gwiazda rubieży" (self-release, 2016) was a collection of baroque-pop songs based mainly on the sounds of the reed organ. The latest mini-album "Nesting" (self-release, October 2022) expanded this experience with electronics and contemporary sounds.
