This year marks my child final year at DES School, which makes this year performance especially meaningful. Knowing that my child will no longer be studying here next year brings a sense of nostalgia. Over the years, many cherished memories have been created during my children’s time at this school. It is here that they grew and developed as primary school students, and it is here that they formed friendships that began in kindergarten and continued through Year 6. Beginning next year, some friends will part ways, some may gradually lose contact, while others will continue their studies at the same institution. Although this transition is emotional, it is a natural part of life. I hope that these long‑standing friendships will continue, even as they build new connections in secondary school.
