The event took place at the Chanel boutique at Marina Bay Sands. I loved a few items, more ready to wear pieces than bags though. This season has amazing jackets and the bow crop tops, that I am so obsessed about. I am still a huge fan of oversized jackets. I liked a lot more items from this collection, than from the Spring Summer 2020. In fact I don’t even feel that excited about the SS2020. I might even skip it.. let’s see. I definitely miss Karl’s vision. Apparently Virginie Viard has used some of Karl’s sketches, I don’t know which ones though. Maybe that’s why I prefer this collection more. I don’t know if I am worried for the brand just yet, Chanel is such a well established company. I don’t see this changing much, but I see myself focusing on other brands more. Especially jewellery designers such as Van Cleef and Cartier. I think if you are following me for a while, you can see that my focus has started to change a bit. Plus the customer service of these is impeccable and that’s equally as important as the quality of the products. I just hope that the new designer won’t change the brand entirely. I am still a huge fan of Chanel, I just don’t want this to change. There was my rant.. back to the launch..I also liked the purple and Tiffany blue Chanel bags. The shade of these colors is gorgeous. I have to say that the quality of the lambskin leather is a lot more durable than before.
