Flying my Vintage Carl Goldberg Eagle 2 - MAIDEN FLIGHT!

This aircraft was gifted to me after being "saved" from "Bloomington Clean-Up Days". The story from the owner who was discarding this plane was that this plane was owned by a relative who had passed away, but had never flown this aircraft. To my best guess to-date, I believe this is maybe a 15-year-old aircraft, which had been assembled, finished and fully equipt for flight, but spent a decade-and-a-half stored in a garage. I didn't receive the original Conquest AM transmitter, but I updated the receiver with my 10-year-old FM Futaba. Here it is, flying with its original Fox 40 glow engine, Futaba servos, and my own "Old School" 72Mhz FM PCM Futaba transmitter. I remembered to bring and use my GoPro Hero2. Unfortunately, I forgot to assure the battery was fully charged. So, here's the first half of the flight. You'll have to take my word that the landing was beautiful, soft and straight down the runway.
