18 years, I believe, is a long time by most standards. As a child...it felt like that age would never come. I imagine for a distiller, 18 years feels like a long time. 18 years, for whisky, is an age where a premium price tag can proudly be worn. Yes, distillers can put premium prices on whisky of any age but, it's at 18 where I feel it starts to earn it. Doesn't mean it's great whisky but 18, as I said at the start of this passage, is a long time. So, with that in mind...how does Springbank spirit fare after 18 years? Enjoy.
