Welcome to our home! In this week's video, we'll install thermal insulation under the slab on the upper floor of the house. It consists of semi-rigid mineral wool panels that we'll nail to the slab joists using special nails and a gas nailer. This material not only performs excellent thermal insulation, but is also fireproof and an excellent acoustic insulator, so much so that there's no longer any echo in the upper floor of the house.
