I was very surprised the types of responses I got. #realestate #trump NOVA. Fairfax County. Man is this place fancy. Look at that. It’s probably a lot nicer than where you live. Nice cars, fancy clothes, super smart people. At least they think they are. No - I know some people who live around here. They’re cool. It’s easy to poke fun, but these people have it made. The average household here brings in $150k every year. If you look at this - the income levels are a little outdated since it’s 5 years old - but you can see Fairfax County is the 5th wealthiest county in the country. And three of the top 5 in the country are all right here in northern Virginia, about a 90 minute drive west of the White House. The median home here just topped a million dollars a few months ago. Half the homes here sold for more than a mil. A thousand dollars a month in property taxes. It’s pretty safe here. It’s not perfect. The schools used to be top ranked, but they’re not as highly rated as they used to be. The parents are WAY involved here. Which is good. There was a controversy here when the Asian parents complained that the black and brown kids were given special treatment. Uh oh. Most parents here don’t want their 10 year olds getting gender identity talks, but the school board here does it anyway. A lot of people call this county Woke. But less so since governor Glenn Younkin got elected here. That’s good. They’re woke and they’re broke. Fairfax County had a $200 million surplus last year, but has a $300 million deficit now. What? They blew a lot of democrat dough on electric charging stations and climate change initiatives. And probably DEI stuff. Gonna have to raise taxes here uh oh. That’ll run people out. Down to Richmond. The liberal elite here is fierce. Rich people out of touch with the real world, but somehow connected to government. A lot of the people who live here work in DC or live with someone who does. Government contractors, lawyers, analysts, lobbyists. Elected people. They haven’t voted for a republican since dubya in 2000. Two out of every three people here voted for Kamala for whatever reason. That’s why we’re here.
