Our most scenic drive yet — from Bozeman through Big Sky and into Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This leg of the trip had it all: stunning mountain highways, unexpected challenges, and some of the best views of the 23 day trip. We left Butte and headed into Bozeman, Montana where we made our way to Ousel Falls for a hike we thought would be easy… until we realized we forgot Madilynn’s carrier. After lots of sweat and teamwork, we found one of the prettiest waterfalls we've ever been to! We drove south from Big Sky and found camp just outside West Yellowstone near Grayling, at the coolest free designated campground we've stumbled upon. The next day took us through Yellowstone National Park and down into the Grand Tetons, where we found a pretty cool playground with the most beautiful background in Jackson before grabbing dinner and a brew at StillWest Brewery. We wrapped up the day on the road with plenty of summertime light, chasing one more campsite before the final leg of our 3-week overland adventure. 📍 Stops this episode: Bozeman, MT → Big Sky, MT → Grayling Camp → Yellowstone National Park → Grand Tetons → Jackson, WY Next up (Part 7): The final two nights on the road — our last campsites and a look back at the full 3-week overland trip.
