'Live' walkthrough of the 2019 ASBOG Fundamentals of Geology Practice Exam found in the Candidate's Handbook (link below). In this video I offer my thought processes as commentary and reason through the exam. This video is Part I of II and covers the first 20 questions. This idea was inspired by GeoWes Geology, a hydrogeologist who publishes ASBOG- and hydrogeo-related videos that you should check out (channel link below). As is naturally the case with geology, you can choose various approaches and interpretations to these questions. If you have a different way to solve a problem I'd love to learn from your thoughts, much like I hope you learned from mine. As I notice or become aware of any mistakes I will make note of them on screen and in the description. Corrections: #5: On the last step I write 871,200,000/0.04, but these two numbers should be multiplied. The answer I give is correct, I just wrote the wrong operation (division, instead of multiplication). #17 is A, 2x. Since you want a unitless V.E., you'll need to multiply 1 in/1000 ft by 1ft/12 in. In other words, your math should be 24,000(1 in/ 1,000 ft)(1 ft/12in.) = 2x. I verbally say A (wrong answer), but circle the right answer, C (26:16) Links: ASBOG Candidate's Handbook:https://www.asbog.org/candidates/cand... GeoWes Geology: / @otrgeo
