linktr.ee/driveslowhomie linktr.ee/asahnmusic About 5 years ago now, I released this little ODESZA mix called Harvest in honor of the seasons changing into Autumn To this day, it is still the most listened to project from ASAHN 🙏🏽🫨😳 A lot has happened since then! I grew as an artist, manager, director, son, and friend. What hasn’t changed is that ODESZA remains my favorite band in the Psychedelic/Indie-Electronic scene. I would joke with my Dad that I would only work on a sequel to Harvest when the time felt right.. and it’s funny because he’s been asking for a few years now xD This was almost a collaborative mix as well but a solo recording endeavor was ultimately the best path forward. Hopefully that can be made up for, one day :) I am truly humbled & thankful for all of the support + love shown to me especially during the most challenging of times throughout the past 3 years. In spite of this, I love reminding myself of the happiest memories and good times that outweigh the sadness & bad. When I feel anxious or scared, I try my best to channel Katniss Everdeen energy and reminisce over every single kind thing I’ve seen someone perform. When I feel like giving up on hope, I channel the wisdom my family and friends have shared regarding love & faith. Humans are resilient. We always find a way to make it through even if we are put through the most difficult circumstances. As Christmas is a literal celebration of “more light,” I hope this new Tribute Mix serves as a loving reminder of the light at the end of the tunnel- one that never truly fades. ODESZA taught us that coping with the nature of death isn’t easy.. but death is just the yang to the yin that is birth. There’s never truly a “Last Goodbye”, there is only “See Ya Later”.
