Helen Sedgwick is a multi-genre author of literary fiction, science fiction and crime. She writes about human connection across time and space, juxtaposing science with the supernatural and realism with ghost story. Her most recent book, The Flicker Against the Light, is a collection of uncanny short stories about science and technology. Her second novel A User’s Guide To Make-Believe is a dystopian thriller about virtual realities, and her first novel The Last Treasure Hunt was selected as a Waterstones debut of the year in 2015. Rachelle Atalla is a Scottish-Egyptian novelist, short story writer and screenwriter based in Glasgow. Her debut novel The Pharmacist was published by Hodder and Stoughton in May 2022 to critical acclaim, and her second novel Thirsty Animals will be published in 2023. Her short stories have been published widely in literary anthologies and she is the recipient of a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award. Rachelle’s first short film screenplay Trifle was commissioned by the Scottish Film & Talent Network, and she is developing her first feature-length film with BBC Film. Ever Dundas is a queer disabled writer living in Edinburgh. She writes literary fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and horror. Ever gained a Creative Writing Masters with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University in 2011, and has a First Class Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Queen Margaret University. Her debut novel Goblin won the Saltire Society First Book of the Year Award, and her second novel HellSans is now out with publisher Angry Robot.
