C/U of a man's hands drumming on a bongo drum; tilt up to show the bare-chested African man who starts to sing. A woman enters shot behind him, wearing a bikini-style top and carrying a basket above her head and stands in position. Commentator says we are about to see Boscoe Holder's dance troupe at London's 'Cote d'Azure Club' perform some native Caribbean dancing. M/S of a small stage in the club; some people are just seen sitting by the stage as an African man and woman come to the front and start to dance as the drummer keeps up a fast rhythm. Two girls in bikini tops and feathered skirts that were carrying baskets of flowers or fruit put them down, and sit either side of the drummer, shimmying wildly to the beat. C/U of two women in the audience looking somewhat blasé with arms folded; another girl seen in the background is moving to the beat. Various shots of the troupe. C/U of a man in the audience bouncing about in his seat to the rhythm. C/Us of the male dancer doing some big jumps, then the three girls all dance across the stage and off. The male dancer picks up the drum and places it on the stool the player was sitting on; still playing, the drummer circles the drum with the dancer. The dancer leaves the stage; the drummer ends the music with a final slap of the drum, picks it up and walks off-stage to loud applause - although the people sitting in view are not clapping!
