I had issues with a standard flash not spreading wide enough vertically that the bottom of a shot would be underexposed at times. The Godox V1-C filled the entire subject with light on every shot. I couldnt give exact recycle times due to the constantly changing light and using ETTL mode, but it was less than a second at times and a bit over a second at other times. I dont think I ever saw a 2 second recycle delay. The color temperature seemed to be evenly balanced throughout the day. I didnt see any shots with color variations at any point during the day. Even though it was used in direct sunlight at times and fired rapidly (several times a minute), there were no overheating issues and no shut down issues.Other thoughts - The flash was very sturdy and very easy to use. I didnt touch the owners manual and just started using it at the race. Dangerous, but the menus all seemed to be easy to understand and didnt require any digging in a manual. I was very surprised at how long the battery lasted. I had to be shooting near full power at times to counteract the brightness of the sun.As the headline indicates, this is my new favorite flash and I will be using it a LOT!!
