This instructional video demonstrates how to perform routine oral care for children with long-term neurological conditions. 0:05 Dampen toothette 0:07 Press toothette against cup rim to squeeze out excess water 0:15 Clean upper and lower teeth 0:30 Clean inner cheeks in "C" shape motion 0:36 Repeat for the other side 0:51 Clean tongue surface by guiding toothette from tongue tip to middle of tongue surface 1:00 Clean sides of tongue by guiding toothette from back to the middle of the sides of the tongue 1:13 Clean palate in a rolling motion 1:20 Do this at least 2 times a day. It is important to continue with oral care routines even if your child is not oral feeding.
