When leaving we highly recommend taking a drive through Mendocino Headlands State Park to enjoy the incredible scenic overlooks. Later on, we explore downtown Fort Bragg California, walking these coastal streets is so much fun. Making a stopover at The NOYO discovery center is definitely worth it as well. Fort Bragg California is most well known for its Glass Beach. The glass beach in Fort Bragg actually use to be the town's dump in the 1950s and 1960s. Dumping all of the town's trash into the ocean actually created this famous glass beach. The following day we drive south for 1 hour to B Bryon Animla preserve where we do a self-driving tour and feed the giraffes.
