I'm doing this to help get a better understanding & have translated subtitles for you guys. I'm in the process of making a video explaining this in more detail, thank you for your patience. Gameplay recorded from a real Sega Saturn & CD. A Sega Saturn Hyperkin HDMI cable & ElGato HD60S were used to capture footage. This is my first longplay of a Columns game. It's a Sakura Taisen-themed Columns game and this is one of the better entries in the Columns series. Apparently, the sequel is better and it's on the Dreamcast too! Like Columns III & Stack Columns, this is a competitive Columns game. Unlike the previous two, it doesn't use the crush feature, special items but rather its own nuisance block patterns to fill the field up. They take the form of dice & it counts down per drop or columns cleared. This feature was never seen till Columns Jewel, the latest entry in the Columns series. Thanks to the addition of selectable & unlockable characters/remade music from Sakura Taisen, it gives the game some personality and replay value. This is one game I recommend you get for your collection. It's cheap and you do not need to know Japanese to play the game!
