After some over exciting associated with the cloud some of the users became little bit more sceptic - why? Because there are some specific branches of the industry where digitalisation is, let's say, not as advanced as in others - I'm refferring to the whole production plants where only internet connection based on a single sim card (it's not a joke). What should we do in such cases - split the current cloud users for those who can and those who cannot use it? Of course no! In mentioned situation we move our virtual boundary from the cloud to the on site infrastructure - in the other words we introduce the edge who is the "cloud special agent".
