61306 'Mayflower' - The Dorset Coast Express - 12/08/15

Deputising for 60009 'Union of South Africa', who was found to be out of gauge for the area around Wool, 61306 'Mayflower' once again took on RTC's Dorset Coast Express to Weymouth, from the Capital. Our first shot captures the B1 as she accelerates away from the water stop at Winchfield, passing under Potbridge, along Totters Lane. Afterwards, we see her speeding through Brockenhurst Station. After spending the afternoon in Milford-on-Sea, it was soon time to begin filming for the return run. First up, Mayflower is seen powering away from Redbridge, at Test Lane. She is later seen racing through Andover. A near miss, having only just set up about a minute before she came thundering through. For the final shot, we return to where we started, Potbridge, with Mayflower seen speeding up the South Western Main Line before diving under the bridge on the approach to Winchfield, and later on, London Waterloo. Filmed on a Panasonic HS900 with a Pro Sound L92AA microphone. Enjoy.
