Help for Mustie's VW Vanagon Relay Failure

I was concerned when his usual video didn't appear the week previously, but now we know he was caught up in the snowdrifts of vanagon issues stranding him on the way back from Florida. Here we address the relay box issues in the engine bay, that contains the relays for ignition and fuel, without which proper operation the engine won't run reliably. I include the 1988 schematics from the official Bentley manual. If the ignition won't run without the diode, ground it as shown, with the end with the band attached to terminal 86.
