Steel has become an essential part of our lives. We are proud to mention that MOIL is the largest producer of Manganese Ore in India with over 60% of the market share. An annual Manganese Ore production of 1.3M tonnes, 95% of which is put into the production of steel with 11 mines across Bhandara, Nagpur, Balaghat, etc. MOIL owns 7 underground mines and 4 opencast mines. Which, Balaghats underground mine is 430 meters and is the deepest in Asia. Additionally, Balaghat's mine is home to MOIL's only Ferro Manganese Plant. It also invested in a plant for EMD (Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide). The plant is the first of its kind in India. In the Gumgaon mine of MOIL, the installation of a second vertical shaft is in the process. MOIL possesses a strength of 6400+ dedicated workers. We are well on our way towards further modernization & expansion & doubling the production to 25 Lakh My by Financial Year 2024-25. #HarEkKaamDeshKeNaam
