Qadir was a natural singer as a child and had a keen interest in all sorts of instruments. Qadir taught himself how to play many instruments such as the harmonium, banjo, flute, sitar, harmonica. He also followed his idol Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's music very closely. During his school years, Qadir competed in many musical competitions and won many. He started his career at a very early age. He didn't leave any opportunity to demonstrate his talent. During his college years, Qadir performed at a wide array of stages, from religious settings to intercollegiate competitions. While in college, Qadir formed his own musical group, which performed at many places, including at out of state shows. Since the arise of Qadir and his party's popularity, Qadir has become a very sought-after artist.
