The result the U.S. presidential election on Tuesday has left many people angered and stressed, but residents in New York City have found a unique way of venting their frustration as they write on Post-it notes that fill the walls of a subway station in Manhattan. Thousands of Post-it notes are now lining the walls of Union Square station as commuters have shared their sadness and anxiety over the future since Republican candidate Donald Trump defeated his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House. The idea came from the mind of artist Matthew Chavez who wanted to encourage people to express themselves through what he calls "subway therapy." "I'm pretty upset, pretty down. I think a lot of New Yorkers are. It's very shocking to say the least. But we realize that we don't live in a bubble and we got to get on board somehow," said a commuter. "Well, I feel a little sad and scared what's going to happen in our country. It does feel better that you're not alone in your feelings," said another commuter.
