Today we needed to get out of suburbia and just breathe. Problem is...suburbia in the Dallas area stretches for hours past the city and there really aren't any expanses of nature anywhere nearby, so we chose a small plot of paradise hidden away from the houses and cars and retail hubbub. Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is tucked back off a main road in Plano, TX and it was apparently a popular spot that day for other families seeking an hour to just breathe and be and delight in the beauty of God's creation...one of his greatest gifts to us. There's just something life-giving about watching little boys discover and delight in the wild as if they've always been there. Sometimes you just need to take a little time to...RESET.
