Barrett, The Honors College at ASU, is the No. 1 honors college in the U.S., according to PrepScholar. The residential honors college for academically outstanding undergraduates is available at all four ASU campuses and online. The deadline to apply for fall is March 15. More than 8,000 students are currently enrolled at Barrett, where 40% of graduates go on to graduate school – double the national average. Part of what makes Barrett unique, according to Dean Tara Williams, is the rigorous curriculum, which includes honors courses, the Human Event and defending an approved honors thesis before graduation.
