Lexus LF-ZC Electrified BEV Concept EMOTIONALLY-CHARGED DESIGN The LF-ZC represents an evolution of Lexus' unique identity. Creating a sense of emotional impact with a low-slung form, it focuses on aerodynamic performance and incorporates distinctive features specific to BEVs. Symbolising an all-encompassing evolution of function and design through electrification, the spindle body design flows from the car’s front face to the rear bumper. Whilst flared rear wheel arches are accentuated to balance aerodynamic performance and wide stance. SUSTAINABILITY IN MOTION To showcase Lexus’ SDG (sustainable development goals) and commitment to efficient recycling of valuable natural resources, the Bamboo CMF Concept1 was presented at the Japan Mobility Show. Using bamboo as the LF-ZC’s signature material, it strikes a balance between fast growth, significant CO2 absorption capacity and enduring beauty that has seen it used as a material for Japanese construction and crafts for centuries. EXHILARATING DRIVING EXPERIENCE Delivering superior performance through next-generation BEV battery and efficiency, Lexus aimed to achieve approximately twice the range as the conventional with the LF-ZC. Featuring no engine compartment, enhanced aerodynamics and weight reduction benefits come to life. All whilst the battery’s low profile adds intrigue to the silhouette and secures a low centre of gravity for improved driving dynamics. WELCOMING TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENTS The LF-ZC mirrors the Japanese concept of hospitality which centres around hospitality, all through technology advancements. For example, the new Arene OS interactive reality experience platform. Combining driver preference data with AI chat functionality it learns and anticipates driver needs. The cabin is also spacious and relaxing. And an AI next-generation voice recognition system provides drivers with a service that embodies human interaction.
