The Vsett 8, 8+, 9, 9+ share the same throttle display and should work on them too. After I modified my vsett 10+ display controller to use a 3 pin Julet style connector, I was able to try other throttle mechanism available on the market. As long as the throttle uses the same 3 pin Julet connector and has the same 49E Hall Effect sensor, it worked. In this video, I tested the 3 other throttle mechanism. I was very surprise of how the half throttle worked with the scooter. The advantage of the half throttle is the ability to grip the handlebar tight during rough terrain and still be able to uise the twist motion to control acceleration.
