Online Meditation class led by Ajahn Sundara during lockdown 19th July 2021 About the Monday night Theravada Class at The Buddhist Society This class usually meets at The Buddhist Society on Mondays during term time at 6.30pm. The class is led by Nick Carroll, Wendy Orr and Martin Evans, experienced lay teachers associated with Amaravati, under the auspices of senior nuns from the Thai Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah. The main focus of the classes will be an exploration of the Theravada teachings with particular emphasis on their application in daily life. There will be opportunities for formal meditation (with instruction), determining the Five Precepts, and a short talk and/or questions and discussion. Guest teachings are open to non-members.
