In this video, we demonstrate our Railway Management System developed by Group 6 (Saigon South campus). The system is designed with two user roles: Admin and Passenger, and we walk through the full end-to-end workflow for both roles. We begin with the Admin side. After logging in, we land on the management dashboard, which provides an overview of key system metrics such as total passengers, active bookings, total revenue, and service trends. We also present multiple visual reports, including revenue by fare class, revenue trends over time, train performance, and trip distribution across railway lines, allowing administrators to quickly evaluate system performance. Next, we demonstrate the real-time train monitoring feature, where train locations and statuses (active, delayed, ready, or under maintenance) are displayed on a map using Vietnam’s actual latitude and longitude. We then move to schedule management, showing how admins can manually update trip statuses, view occupancy levels, ticket sales, and add operational notes, with all changes reflected instantly in the system. We also show passenger and ticket management, including aggregated revenue calculations per trip to help evaluate trip performance. Business rules are enforced so that tickets can only be created when a valid booking reference exists. Ticket prices are automatically calculated based on a base fare and fare class multiplier, ensuring pricing consistency and correctness. After that, we switch to the Passenger role. Passengers can browse available trips by route and travel date, select seats, confirm bookings, and view their booking history. Seat availability is updated in real time, preventing double booking and ensuring data integrity. Finally, we demonstrate interactive reporting, where all booking and ticket data is updated instantly and can be exported for reporting purposes. This confirms that our system maintains real-time consistency across all modules.
