Autumn colors are now at their top point in Montreal as of mid-October. Many places are very beautiful to see when these colors are present. Here is a walk in one of the rare elevated natural sites in Montreal : Mount-Royal, an autumn symphony. Our walk starts at the Sir-George-Étienne-Cartier monument located at the base of the mountain. We can hear the Tam-tams playing their drums. This is an event that happens on every Sunday from April to October every year. By continuing our walk, we take the long but admirable trails to get to the Kondiaronk Belvedere. The trails are covered with beautiful and colorful leaves which fell from the trees just above. This also makes a beautiful sound while we are taking each step forward. After the trails, we arrive at the long staircase that connects the street all the way to the Kondiaronk belvedere. The ascension of the stairs was tiring but is worth it because it is rewarded by the Kondiaronk Belvedere! It offers a nice 360° view of Montreal. Following the minutes that we took at the Kondiaronk Belvedere, we continue our tour to Beaver Lake. It was a clear day so the beautiful blue color seen on the water was present at 100%. Our autumnal walking tour ended on the bridge above the beautiful Beaver lake fountain. This is one of the best moments to enjoy the beauty of the city before winter sets in.
