MESH4U Video 2023

MESH4U is an international research project under the Era Net Smart Energy Systems initiative. It is a cooperation between industry and academia focused on readying a next generation idea for the integration of multiple energy storage technologies. The main objective of MESH4U was to develop and demonstrate multi energy storage hub solutions (technology and service) for flexibility operation from end customers. The MESH4U combined several types of storage (electrical, thermal, mechanical and chemical) and its technologies in order to maximize utilization (technical and economic) for different needs and conditions. The holistic approach regarding the multi-functioning energy storage hub provides flexibility to renewables owners and operators, industry and private households as wellas for e-mobility issues. The MESH4U project is co-funded by the National Center for Research and Development under the ERA-NET Smart Grids Plus Joint Call 2019 on Energy Storage Solutions (MICall2019) program.
