Evolv DNA 40 Meets Johnson Creek Vapor Company UPDATE: August 2nd - At the time of this review, and our full written review, we were ignorant of the existence of Shenzhen S-Body Technology Company. S-Body is the manufacturer of the Vea™ Elite, and the Vaporshark rDNA. Selling under the name Torch Mini, the Vea™ Elite "twin" is not available in the US. The Vea Elite remains my favorite DNA40 box mod. We sincerely apologize for misleading our readers. Had we known, as we did with the Canteen Elite/Kanger Subtank Mini, we would have mentioned it in both the video and written review. --- At the heart of the new Vea™ Elite rests an Evolv DNA 40 board. The DNA 40 is also at the heart of the Vaporshark and the Vapor Flask. A lot has been written about the Evolv DNA 40 board, most of it good, some of it not so good, but there is no denying that it is the board of choice for high-end vaporizers. On the horizon are several Evolv DNA200 equipped devices that we're looking forward to reviewing as well. The Evolv DNA 40 is a power-regulated digital switch-mode DC-DC converter for vaporizers. Featuring Evolv’s patented Wattage Control, Temperature Protection, Preheat technology, Step Up/Step Down Topology, Digital User Controls (DUC), a bright OLED Screen that uses minimum power, with Onboard Buttons and Synchronous Rectification that serves to maximize battery life with minimal heat generation. It is arguably the most advanced personal vaporizer controller on the market, and it is now at the heart of the Vea™ Elite.
