Watch Anchor 1: Naming the Doubt • When Doubt Hits: Naming the Battle in Your... In this second teaching in The Five Anchors of Doubt, we explore a crucial truth many Christians overlook: Not all doubt is theological. Sometimes doubt comes from exhaustion, emotional pain, confusion, or lack of understanding — not unbelief. Before trying to answer doubt, we must first diagnose the source of the doubt. In Scripture we see faithful people wrestle with questions: • Elijah collapsing in exhaustion (1 Kings 19) • Asaph struggling with confusion (Psalm 73) • Habakkuk questioning God’s justice • Job confronting suffering he could not understand God does not condemn honest wrestling — He meets His people in it. This teaching walks through how to identify the real source of doubt so it can be addressed with wisdom, patience, and faith.
