Lesce is one of the oldest villages in the Gorenjska region. Today it is known as the capital of skydiving (Lesce Alpine Sports Field) and the home of the Gorenjska chocolate factory. Other interesting tourist attractions of Lesce are the Beekeeping Education Center of Gorenjska, Šobec Campsite, and Bled Golf Club. If you like to spend your vacation in active mode, there is a great cycle track from Lesce to Bled. You can also walk from Lesce to Šobec. As mentioned, Lesce is located near strategic rail and road links and is an ideal base from which to explore Alpine and Central Slovenia. If you are interested in the history and heritage of Lesce, do not miss Legat's house, Špan's house, and the Church of the Assumption of Mary, one of the oldest pilgrimage churches in Slovenia.
