I Found Something On Google Earth In The Mountains That Still Holds A Secret

Today, we're diving deep into the digital world with one of my favorite tools: Google Earth. I love exploring our planet from the comfort of my chair, and sometimes, you stumble upon something truly… unusual. Something that makes you scratch your head and wonder, "What is that?" That's exactly what happened to me a few weeks ago. I was randomly exploring this particularly remote stretch of Mountain Range, just scanning the landscape, when I saw it. At first, I thought it was just a glitch on Google Earth. A weird shadow, a trick of the light. But the more I zoomed in, the more I realized… this was something real. Something… deliberately created. So, what could it be? My mind immediately jumped to a few possibilities. Could it be some kind of ancient structure, lost to time and only now revealed by satellite imagery? Perhaps it's a forgotten military installation from the Cold War, abandoned and overgrown? Or maybe, just maybe, it's a completely natural rock formation… although that seems unlikely given its symmetrical shape and geometry. I quickly wondered what lies abandoned and forgotten here? I next studied the area for and history of human inhabitation. I quickly learned this area is renowned for the millions of dollars of gold that was once extracted. Upon further study I also learned the area or mountain range we are exploring is full of history and abandoned and forgotten secrets. Further my interest in visiting this remote stretch of land tucked in a mountain canyon was sealed once I discovered one of the largest gold nuggets was found in this area. A surface find along a stream or creek over 25 troy ounces of pure gold... Not seeing or finding any mines via google earth I became intrigued. Is there still a secret gold bearing mine or stash in the area? why does it appear so much is abandoned? What secrets of this bygone era remain hidden in plain sight?... Today we set out to scout the area and see if we can find any clues to its ancient past and present and what exactly we can discover and if it is a promising prospecting site to return to in the future.
