I came across a beautiful cable design by Augustins while browsing Instagram and instantly thought: I need one! There’s a vest, a sweater, and a camisole with similar cable design —all equally stunning. I decided to knit the cami because I already had suitable yarn in my stash, this would be a quicker knit, and it seemed like the perfect layering piece for the coming autumn. When I discovered there was just one project on Ravelry, I felt both nervous and excited—there’s something special about jumping into a pattern without many references. It’s an adventure~ This project came together during a pretty busy time for me, and knitting a few rows each evening after work became such a calming, meditative routine. It reminded me just how much knitting means to me—not only because I love wearing the finished garments, but because the process itself brings peace, joy, and a little moment of stillness in my everyday life.
