60ft Classic Schooner - NOW SOLD Walton on the Naze, Essex This beautiful classic has been under the same ownership for the last 50 years. There are historic records and documents from Lloyds to verify her history. Built in 1882. Teak, Oak and Iroko, carvel planked. Cast Iron and concrete as ballast. She draws 8ft and has the under water shape similar too the Cutty Sark. Her sizable frames are in the most part doubled up some strengthened with iron belts. An Elm Keel,present deck is in very good order it is double skinned marine ply, sheathed and painted. 2 keel stepped solid wooden varnished/oiled masts and spars, retractable bowsprit.
