How to plant a bulb lasagne // Long-lasting spring blooms

Here's my method of how to plant a bulb lasagne to get beautiful, long-lasting spring blooms. First, start with a pot of soil that's around 1/3 to 1/2 full with potting soil. Then start layering bulbs. Typically, the larger later blooming bulbs go on the bottom, while the smaller and earlier blooming bulbs go on the top. This method with produce weeks to months of color in your garden! As the earlier blooming bulbs start to die back, the later bulbs get their chance to put on a beautiful display. Since I purchased these bulbs on clearance at the Lowes garden center, I started wondering: how much did this cost me?
