Arctic Darkness - Official Company Logo

I am pleased to introduce to everyone the official logo for my company, Arctic Darkness. Devin Koehler did the extraordinary design for it, using reference photos that I came up with, plus some stock footage that Devin and I combed through in order to find the right wolf, and determine what we could do with him. In my story treatment for "The Wolf in the Well", I came up with a backstory in which, during the 1870's, a Native American animal rights' activist named Nashoba sought to save the wolves of St. Louis, accompanied by his good-natured pet wolf, Blizzard. The wolf in this logo is the perfect representation of Blizzard, as I've written him: A strong, positive Alpha wolf who hails from the Arctic. Later, he and Nashoba engage in a violent confrontation in St. Louis with some government-hired trappers, and they all kill each other. And yet, the spirits of Nashoba and Blizzard endure, and they watch over the land during the ensuing centuries, to keep safe the souls of the city's fallen wolves. If "The Wolf in the Well" ever becomes a feature film, I'd love to show more scenes with Blizzard -- and of course there will eventually be a showdown between Blizzard and our villainous 1970's wolf, Frostbite. For now, though, here's a glimpse of Blizzard in my company's logo.
