A Miracle by any other Name - Part1-A - from The New Mythologies by Jayce Dalton Free

A Miracle by any other Name (part 1 - A) from The New Mythologies Science can trace origins through layer upon layer, eon upon eon - piecing together a rather astonishing historical cosmology. Particles arise spontaneously, in mass, across seemingly infinite positions throughout an infinite volume of space. These particles, due to various laws of physics, coalesce and form stars and planets and all the physical substances that we know. On through the momentous arising of life from raw matter, we eventually see the emergence of enumerable fantastical lifeforms. [And] ultimately there arise lifeforms capable of a keen awareness of all things including a growing knowledge of this great unfolding to which they themselves are a party. Can a greater tale than this be told? Can a greater miracle than this be imagined? Surely, reality is stranger than fiction. While science can trace the origins of one thing back to a prior source, each ‘source’ is but another derived ‘thing’. At the fringe of it all there is always complete uncertainty. No matter how deeply we ‘know’, another question always underlies. At the very essence of our knowledge, and underlying our very existence, lies the unanswerable question, “How can everything or anything exist?” Whether created by a god or by some rationalized random accident, it still begs the question, “How do we get something from nothing?”   Science can boil everything down to smaller and smaller particles, but how did those particles get there [in the first place]? Did they just ‘pop in’ to existence or did they mysteriously arrive from somewhere else? The big bang may have occurred as scientists have theoretically deduced, but how did the vast quantities of matter initially form which caused it? There had to be a ‘ginormous’ volume of particles predating the big bang, and even one particle is something. Where did it come from? Did everything just spontaneously arise? That would surely be classified as a miracle.   And yet if God created everything, then what created God? Did God make himself? Or did another God make him, and then who made that God? And so on. Why would anything, let alone everything, just happen to exist? But yet it does, and it does so in grand fashion. Everything in all of its exquisite variation does exist beyond our wildest dreams. In one sense, reality defies reality. The existence of everything is illogical. Yet it is undeniable and therefore miraculous.
