WOW! finding big gold is fun! Steve, the owner of the Nip & Tuck Mine invited me out to metal detect and do some gold panning around his main pit at his placer gold mine while the mine was not in operation. We got to spend a couple hours with our metal detectors looking for gold nuggets, and we found them! Nothing as amazing as what Steve has pulled out with his large equipment, but still VERY satisfying finds. Steve does get a chance to show off some of his larger gold nuggets and it has all of us drooling over the possibility of finding these large gold nuggets.
