The Baetis Nymph pattern is an awesome Blue Wing Olive pattern that can easily be tied in different colors to imitate other mayfly nymphs. This pattern is a "Old School" style pattern tied with newer synthetic materials. You could fish this fly as a nymph, swing it as a wet on a tandem rig or even drop it under a dry fly during a hatch. This is a great looking realistic imitation of a mayfly nymph. It can be easily tied with a little bit of practice and a minimal amount of materials.
