And there are plenty of unique things to explore – 5th grade protected primeaval forest reserves, charming, refurbished, but still very authentic villages, World War I and II cemeteries, UNESCO-inscribed wooden articular churches, large mountain meadows (called „poloniny“) and unspoiled forests crossed with well-marked tourist trails. Chances you cross your paths with a bear or lynx or wolf or bison are very small but mere the knowing THEY´RE HERE adds the right dosage of excitement.
