Lyrics: Mind driven to madness And heart blackened to stone Forced into the beckoning darkness To walk always alone Dream transformed to nightmare Controlled by this longing Blinded by wrath and greed Cursed with his own forbidden power Soul lost eternally Light will one day triumph As winds of time unmask Forgiveness will wash away the pain From storms of the dark past After I heard SilverShadowDarkness's piano version of Vaati's Origins, I absolutely fell in love with the melody! ^_^ It's so sad and dark and beautiful... I put a lot of thought into the lyrics. I tried to give them a really deep meaning and add darkness to this lovely piece. That's why I did the reverb/echo/whateveryoucallit on my voice (and a little on the piano to blend) also- to give it that creepy feel. :3 I hope you like it! ^_^ I'm very proud of this... I had no clue I could hit those notes without my voice cracking, not to mention the dang octave change... I'm not a professional, but I think I did really well. :) Also, thank you Haley for giving me the idea to try a higher octave! I do not own any of the pictures! They were drawn by amazing artists on the internet. I put them in to add a little more emotion to this.
