Sorrows End - Night Tides

Night Tides began as an outro I wrote for the end of our first album back in 2001. The original version was much slower—built only from the first riff, looped and panned back and forth between the speakers with some flanger and phaser effects. For 2023, I decided to expand on it and breathe some new life into the song. In certain sections you’ll hear as many as eight or nine guitars layered together—see if you can spot them all. :) The painting featured in the video actually inspired me to write the song in the first place. I used to have it hanging on my wall, and it felt fitting to include it here to give you a glimpse of the mindset I was in at the time.
