RTI Activist Alleges Land Scam by Itanagar DC RTI activist Likha Tolum, IPR Secretary of the All Arunachal RTI Activists Association, has accused the Deputy Commissioner of ICR of illegally facilitating land allotment to Smti Toko Yazo based on a gift deed from a non-APST individual, Attar Singh. Tolum stated that the land was originally allotted to Late Afa Sidisow and alleged gross violation of land rules and misuse of official authority. Despite prior objections and an RTI application, the allotment was allegedly approved. He further claimed the DC posted false statements about him on social media, asserting a meeting and clarification that never occurred. A formal complaint, with documents, has been submitted to the Chief Secretary. The association has demanded cancellation of the allotment and action against the official.
